Installing Kill Switch On Car, Concern About Disconnecting ECU

Hello,
I have a 2015 infiniti q50 and am installing a kill switch to prevent what I suspect to be parasitic drain. It is one of those simple ones that you manually turn to cut the circuit
My concern with this, however, is resetting the ecu every time I open the circuit
Is there any way to get around this?
