What's Wrong with My Elantra?
Post Body

Hey everyone,

I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra with 160k miles. I've owned it for the past 10k miles.

Since last week, I've noticed that in the mornings when I put the car in drive, it jerks into the 1st gear but then runs fine for the rest of the day. However, today at a stop, the car was unresponsive. I had to press the pedal hard, and only at higher RPMs did the car move, but then it ran fine.

Interestingly, I used manual shifting, and it shifted through gears without any issue.

I had a Saturn before this car and experienced a similar problem. I changed the transmission fluid, and that fixed the issue.

What do you guys suggest? My plan was to get the transmission fluid changed during my next oil change, which is due next week.

However,No check engine light.

Please lmk what you guys think could be the issue.

TIA
