Knock sensor keeps faulting

2018 Chevrolet Cruze premier hatchback, just got back from an oil change, and my engine light popped on. I took it back to the shop, and get a P06B6 code. I just replaced the knock sensor three weeks ago, and considering they’re supposed to last the lifespan of the car I’m beginning to think that’s not the problem. Any help or thoughts are welcome. TIA.
