Mystery broken piece of something in oil pan... pentastar 3.6

Did an oil pump solenoid change today and when I dropped the oil pan the I noticed this broken plastic thing in the pan...it's hard, not pliable and looks like one side of it is broken off..there are some numbers on the side PA66 but that's it....does anyone happen to know where this piece may have come from/broken off of? 2012 dodge journey 3.6-110k miles
