I work at a shop, mainly installing transmissions and fixing tran related issues. I’ve got a 2014 Camaro LS with a 3.6l v6 (manual tran). My coworker has a 4.8l v8 out of a Chevy truck with a harness and ecm and we’re thinking about swapping it into my Camaro for fun. I’ve got experience working on cars but he has a lot more than I, involving engine and transmission swaps and he’s confident we can do it fairly easily. Any advice on mounts or swap kits for this to work? I can figure the electrical side of things out later if it doesn’t work right with the cluster and such but I’m looking for any advice or tips on the mechanical side for it to run and mount up properly.
