I feel like thereâs a fine line between free speech and spreading ideas that are harmful to society. As an example, Alex Jones attacking the families of Sandy Hook and calling them actors isnât free speech, itâs hate speech and his influence was enough for his supporters to attack said families. So I feel like banning him is totally valid.
As for Tate, he spreads ideas such as saying âwomen do not have a business mindâ or even saying how you should get your girlfriend to live in fear around you. Maybe for older people they might brush it off, but whatâs concerning is the amount of teens who are reportedly more disrespectful to female teachers because they feel women should be in the kitchen.
My personal opinion is that parents need to monitor what their kids watch nowadays and block any manosphere content that pops up on their kidâs device. But at the same time, you shouldnât ban someone like Tate given that he self snitched and caused himself to be arrested in Romania. Eventually toxic guys like Tate who are in the manosphere self destruct after enough people clown on them imo so I think itâs better to not ban sometimes (just look at Fresh and Fit for proof).
