Why do you think DA Fani Willis is requesting a trial in Georgia for August 2024?

I think she realizes that this trial before the election is the worst case scenario for him especially if more of these co defendants flip. If any of them are going to make a deal, they’ve given them until June 2024 to do that. So I could see all of them pleading guilty outside of Trump, and that would hamper his election chances.
