Hello I 23m have had an incident at my workplace where an inappropriate doctored (fake) photo sent of me in a compromising manner. I informed my hr department and shortly thereafter was able to reconcile and fix the issue myself among the people who it spread it to. Now I called hr in a moment of weakness as I didn't know who made it or why and it made me very uncomfortable. I talked to hr and told then that although this happened and it did make me uncomfortable, I had already sorted it out with the people involved and didn't wish anything to happen to then as they were still as I thought my friends. I was then called into the hr office on suspicion of drug use on the jobsite. My "friends" had told the office that I was smoking a thc vape in the break room when it was infact a nicotine vape as I've been trying to kick the habit of smoking black and mild. Does this count as retaliation and if so do I have any legal recourse? Plz and thank you
