[Maryland] Overtime mandatory for training if over 40/hrs total?

Post Body

We are launching a new business in MD which includes some mandatory training (61 online videos) which must be completed over a 90 day probationary period. This training is to be done by the employees at home while also working in the field at various job sites.

I've read that under Federal law, training can be excluded from overtime pay. It's not specifically excluded under MD law, however. If a trainee works > 40 hours total, including training, in MD are they eligible for OT?
