Post Body

Okay so, I pushed back my court date and I am looking for counsel.

I was going to work one morning in may and about 5 minutes from my house a truck runs a red light. I can’t stop in time so I hit his tire head-on into his back driver side tire. This disabled his rear end and my truck was more or less cosmetic damage. Unfortunately, I’m in a situation at the moment from an accident that occurred in 2018 where my family’s insurance did not cover me. Years later I get a judgement of 14000.00 put in my name suspending my DL indefinitely until paid or some other agreement is made with the legal firm. Well I drove off to the adjacent parking lot, killed the motor, and went to see if the driver was okay. He was fine, so we waited for the police.

Happened in Pasadena TX, almost entirely Hispanic community. The 4 officers, and other driver were Hispanic too.

Note I’m the whitest man in town.

They got there and went over the info, they with no documentation to me, deemed it a no fault accident. They Proceed to really start pushing on me about the DL and MVR.

Literally half of the people in this down drive without a license and insurance.

We both had insurance, but the officers seemed to really favor the other party. It was pretty obvious it was his fault, he was late to his job a the school down the street.

Now fast forward they decide to ticket me within the no DL and expired MVR. But the citation is riddled with errors. Address has no street name, says no accident occurred, vehicle model was incorrect, it also say self employed… I was on my way to work. Says I’m 6’1” I’m literally 5’10” 😂

Now if an accident didn’t occur then they gave me a ticket for a vehicle parked off in a private parking lot.

Despite the noted location of the incident saying traveling south at Fresa and shaver.

Seems the officer was going through the motions to ticket me But you can’t do that in a private lot.

I think this will be tossed out what do the experts think?

Thanks
