Want a legal perspective on a NSFW post in a subreddit
Post Body

On another NSFW subreddit a person admitted to using the neglect of their newborn son for sexual gratification.

To be clear I am primarily asking whether this constitutes minor abuse/neglect and sexualization and what the laws around this are in the USA. I understand this varies state by state, and I would like specific details as well as a general overview to understand this better.

Some extracts from the post:

I have censored profanity and omitted/censored NSFW

AP stands for “affair partner”

Warning: Potential triggering content (child neglect / cheating )

“TLDR: neglected my son while i f*cked my AP r*w.” “I had left my son in the living room in his little baby chair watching Mickey Mouse Club house lol … About half way through my son started crying” “We probably kept going for about 30 more minutes. It got to the point where I was taking my time with her and I didn’t care... while my son continued to cry.” “... any ideas how I can take this even further in the future, let me know!”

There is also talk in the comments of finding a sexual partner with a child to replicate this behavior.

I reported this for sexualization and abuse/neglect of a minor to reddit, however they got back and said it did not violate terms of service.

If I am allowed to post the link to the post I will so people can have access to the raw data.
Link here in spoilers, is a NSFW subreddit.

I appreciate anyone who has taken valuable time out of their day to read/respond to this.

Are there any laws being broken? Why / why not?
