Wisconsin tree lawn?

Post Body

So I had a bit of a dispute with a neighbor this morning about some trees of mine. Long story short a few small branches overhung on to his property. These are arborvitae trees, so nothing crazy and they don’t drop needles. Anyways he trimmed the branches at some point this past week, then just left them in a pile on my property. I know he has every legal right to trim them, but since they are technically his property due to the overhang, isn’t he technically required to dispose of them?

I confronted him and got a bs answer that he contacted the town board and they told him to leave them on my lawn. I find that hard to believe. And I’m most upset about if that was even legal that he didn’t have the courtesy to knock on my door and tell me about it.
