Filing Bankruptcy
Post Body

I've been going through a separation/divorce for the last year and have been debating on filing bankruptcy. I don't have anything of value left to really consider or risk with a chapter 13; no cars, no property, and capital just sitting around. I've been wondering if it would be best to file with the separated spouse or go ahead with the divorce first? Not to worried about the divorce or children, since my daughter (13) has already created a DFAS case against my spouse (wife) for adultery (short version) while talking to her psychiatrist for help with emotional distress. Also, would anyone know a rough estimate of filing bankruptcy? I haven't had much time to really look in depth, but plan to contact a local lawyer for some much needed advice. I really need to contact the Veteran Affairs and see what may be available for veterans as well. Thank you in advance for anything you can provide, I greatly appreciate it.
