Is this considered wrongful termination?
Post Body

I worked for a company where I was an operator gluing boxes from late 2021-january 2023. It was me and one other operator I was newer than the other operator "let's call her Pat" thus had less training. I worked there for about a year and a half before I was terminated for "wasting to much product"

Now mind you I very seldom missed a day. And if I did I always called in. Pat just wouldn't show up and never got any warnings. On mandatory weekend workdays she wouldn't show up and again no disciplinary action was taken. There is/was CLEAR favoritism with her and and my boss. Enough that the whole working floor saw it.

I just learned through inside sources that Pat wasted an ENTIRE job and again nothing was done to her.

Could I sue for wrongful termination even if has been 8 months since I was fired? Should I talk to a lawyer? What are my options here? Or should I just let it go?
