Dear Germans, Dutchie speaking here.

Me and my girlfriend have some days off in the end of October / the beginning of November and we would like to go for a weekend to west Germany. We want to go on a budget this time to try something different.

Since we live near the German border we (or at least I have) already visited the cities of:

Köln, Aachen, Düsseldorf, Essen, Bonn, Duisburg, Mönchengladbach and Dortmund.

I'd like to know which cute cities/villages/nature parks we could spend our few days off and if someone has some tips/recommendations on where to go and things to do. It can be anything. (if its in the range of 3 or 4hrs driving from Venlo/Roermond.
