So i'm sure many are aware the German stare is a thing, however i'm currently living with someone who takes it to the next level. When there is a disagreement or issue not only can they be quite passive aggressive but they have this psychopathic cold dead stare. I find it extremely disturbing, like they're about to fly off the handle or do something crazy. They never have and ordinarily they are nice 95% of the time but this intense eye contact really worries me. Is this a German thing? I should also mention many people only stayed here a month before they decided to leave because they made them feel uncomfortable.

Also want to add i have nothing against germans, i'm just genuinely wanting to know if this is a thing?
