“Long text”
I am a university student living in Germany in a shared apartment (WG). The landlord has set things up so that each tenant in the apartment has an individual contract. Unfortunately, the landlord is elderly, intrusive, and somewhat erratic. He visits the apartment almost every other day to monitor trivial things like how much food we have in the fridge, how much laundry we're doing, and other such matters.
Two of my flatmates have been harassing me and another tenant. They seem to be conspiring to get us to leave so they can move their friends in. The situation has escalated to the point where the landlord regularly brings baseless accusations against me, such as claiming I buy too many groceries (which shouldn't be anyone's concern since I pay for them), or that I'm not properly handling the garbage or wasting energy. He even criticizes me for owning too many shoes. All of these accusations are unfounded and are clearly being fed to him by the two other flatmates.
Yesterday, they went so far as to turn on three knobs of the stove, record a video, and send it to the landlord as "evidence." Even if I had accidentally left the stove on, it could happen with one burner but not three. This was clearly orchestrated.
I feel harassed and mentally drained by this ongoing situation, to the point where I am borderline depressed. Is there any legal action I can take against both the landlord for his invasive behavior and the flatmates for the harassment and false accusations? I have reached my breaking point and need to know if there are steps I can take to address this mental and emotional distress.
