Eastern European circle of culture = former soviet states, Slavic culture. I would even go so far that I partially count Eastern Germany as part of "Eastern Europe". The Poles and the Czech and the Baltics have probably more in common than with the Germans or the French.
Nordic culture = Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway Friendly, warm, socialist but also a bit distant (neutral).
Central and/or Western culture is something I would count the UK, the US, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and France are rather capitalist , free trade, moving on from old traditions, non-religious cultures. They have quite a lot on common
Latin or Mediterranean culture is more in Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy) are the Western Mediterranean people. Croatia, Albania, Greece, Romania etc are the typical Balkan states, which are a mix out of Eastern and Southern culture.
Of course there are no hard boarders between these "cultures" and the transition of culture can vary geographically and also between the ages.
Young Europeans with high education from Ireland have probably the same things in common as their peer group in Italy, while the old grandma from Sicily probably is as religious and traditional as the grandfather from Poland.
