Hello.
I am a prospective student who is preparing to apply for a Software Design Bsc in TH Aschaffenburg University of applied sciences. The program is entirely taught in English.
While talking to the university advisory office. I was told that I would need a A1 Goethe Zukunft test and saw that I already have a previous academic degree as a teacher of the English language. So they told me to get a written confirmation that my degree was entirely taught in English.
Now, I tried contacting the German embassy here in my country (Tunisia) and I haven't received a reply. I was wondering if I can get a student visa with a my English Bachelor degree and the Goethe Zukunft test ? Or is it mandatory to sit for a TOEFL/IELTS test regardless of my English degree??
I did manage to create a blocked account on Fintiba with 11208 euros on it. However, it is just for the first year. Taking into account that the program is at least 3 years of duration in total, and the fact that foreign students are only allowed to work 20hrs per week and earn 450€ per month, How can I get the rest of the money for the next two years ?
I apologize if these questions seem cheesy but this is my first time going abroad and I am quite "scared" of how finances are handled in Germany for international students.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate the help in advance!
