Is it common for German men not to tell their hookup person that they are cumming?

I have been having a lot of experiences where I am hooking up with German man and pretty much none of them let me know when they are about to cum. They just blast off. I wonder if this is perhaps maybe cultural (I’m from the states) I don’t mind it actually but curious and I am aware everytime it happens haha.
