Caring for leather I’m not used to?
Post Body
I have had this pair of Johnston and Murphy shoes for a while but never really worn them. I have started to work them into my work clothing and don’t know how to care for them. I have had plenty of leather shoes and care was simple - clean with shoe soap, shoe polish, and buff. I don’t know how to care for these. The leather seems more like patent leather and scuff marks are very visible. How do I keep these conditioned and well cared for?
Side note: I know I need new laces.
