Within God Ordained Marriage, does a women always require a male figure to approve the marriage?

Let’s say two Christians want to get married, the problem is the women has no family, either because they were killed, they disowned her etc.
If the women has no make family left yo approve of her relationship with her soon to be husband, is she allowed to just make the choice on her own?
