I got to wondering about Adam and Eve: did they ever have to sleep in the garden? If the tree of life allowed them to live indefinitely, then I could see how the energy in their bodies would’ve never dipped below a certain level so as to require sleep. They were essentially perpetual motion in biological form.
I know there won’t be any night in the Kingdom, and night is indicative, among other things, of a time of rest. Since night won’t be a thing in the Kingdom, I’m led to believe that sleep wont be either, which leads me back to wondering whether or not Adam and Eve needed sleep while they were perfect in the garden.
Thoughts?
