Are there any believers in the Atlanta area?
Post Body

(I’m not asking for money)

I’ve been a participant in this community for quite some time, and while my views may not always be in line with the majority here, I do love this community and am grateful for having found it so long ago.

I’m entering a new and unknown chapter of my life here in a few days. I was recently given an eviction notice (again, I’m not asking for money), and I figure that’s my prompt to move ahead with my future plans.

I’m relocating to Atlanta with my car and what things I own that I can fit in it and I’m going to try to couch surf until I can save up enough to get my own place.

I’ve never asked this community for anything, and I’m honestly not fond of propositioning charity (I just always feel bad about it), but this is a rather extreme situation for me and it’s definitely a first.

I’m not looking for a homeless shelter or anything like that. I have anxiety and I also don’t want any of my things potentially being snatched while I sleep. I’ve seen videos of shelters and how people can get bullied in there and even stolen from. I’d sooner either find a couch I could surf on or just sleep in my car somewhere.

In short: are there any believers in the Atlanta area who I could stay with for any length of time, even if only for a night? I can help around the house in whatever way may be needed. I’m also going to be looking for work once I get there, as I need money to eat and I also need to get my car fixed. I don’t mind sleeping in my car, but I’d prefer a proper place to lay my head if I can find one.

I’ll be heading towards Atlanta on Sunday most likely.

Mods, I apologize if this breaks the rules in any way.
