Visiting the maritime with no car in the fall
Post Body

Hi all. I'm thinking of making a solo trip to the maritime provinces late October to early November. I'm from Ontario and have never been to the eastern coast, mostly interested to learn about the culture there and see the nature. I won't be driving, and wonder if a trip is viable without a car. For that reason I'm prob gonna stick out to the major cities to fly into (Halifax, St John's, Moncton, etc). So my questions are:

Do I need a car if I come for a visit? For example when I visited Vancouver I was able to take public transport to ton of attractions and to edge of nature for hikes. Would that be possible with buses or ride sharing apps?

Are cultural/nature sights worth seeing accessible without car? Like can I make day trips taking a bus?

Also feel free to give me suggestions on where to go/what to visit

EDIT: Based on everyone's answers, although it's possible to do the trip, it's not recommended. There are many scenic routes and trail mostly accessible by car.
