What is the most average Canadian city?
Post Body
I’ve been wondering this for a while now but I haven’t found any great answers online for this question. From my personal experience the answer to this would probably be something like Edmonton or Regina, but I’m curious what others might say.
I’d also be interested to know what people would consider to be the most average large Canadian city (>500k in metro area)

Winnipeg has lots of poor and middle class folks with cheap tastes, it's a good test market for consumer products.
This isn't a dig at WPG at all. It's a very diverse place demographics wise, with both French and Anglo Canadians, lots of second, third, fourth generation Canadians from all over the world, lots of immigrants from different places from many different waves of immigration, and of course the large indigenous population there. Lots of religious diversity there as well and some interesting demographics as far as the workforce goes as well. I found it very interesting when I lived there- lots of people with different backstories.
