can i fly with cannabis not in its original packaging?

i’m flying air canada and i know if you’re 19 you can possess up to 30g in your carry on or checked baggage, but does it have to be in its original dispensary/government packaging? i’m planning on taking it in my checked baggage and having it in just a clear zipped bag would that be allowed? any tips are appreciated:)
edit: when you google air canadas own regulations it says you cannot fly with cannabis under any circumstances so i’m confused now😅
