Number plate "UK 1"?

This morning I was driving down the A64 toward York from Malton and saw a fleet of Bentleys coming the other way. One of them had the number plate "UK 1". Now continuing my journey by train so not much to do but indulge my curiosity lol, and Google, besides confirming that number plate does exist and is on a Bentley, gave no insight.
Royal? Governmental? (I know this is near-ish Rishi's constituency but wouldn't be the natural way to get there.) Anyone know who it's likely I saw?
