It's July, and that means it's time to nominate posters for the July 2017 Poster of the Month! If you see someone nominated who you would like to vote for, upvote them! If not, comment on this thread with their username in "/u/ username" format to nominate them. Please limit to one nomination per poster in this thread. Multiple nominations will be deleted. At the end of the voting period the nominee with the most upvotes will win. In contest mode, only upvotes are counted. Downvotes don't even show up.

Only posts made in July will count, so here is a good starting point for last month's most popular posts. The voting will go until August 5th. Once it's unstickied, voting is over.

PLEASE READ: Now the important change. We have received concerns that posters with a commercial and social presence outside of AGW get a huge advantage and end up winning by a higher proportion and even multiple times, making it harder for others who may only post here to have a chance. So to make it fair for everyone, from now on if you have won before you are no longer eligible to win again. You will forever be an AGW Poster of the Month with a special flair identifying that, with the date of your win (or the last date you won for multiple winners). If you won July 2017 Poster of the Month, you will forever be the July 2017 Poster of the Month. No one can take that away from you... unless you delete your account. ;)

So before nominating someone, please check if they have the lavender (or is it lilac?) star that shows they are a Poster of the Month. On mobile apps you should see the text flair indicating if they are a Poster of the Month. If they are nominated, it will be removed and those votes will be lost.
