My parents and I were sitting in the living room when my parents asked me to use my ebike to buy ice for them at the store. I said no and use the car instead because in my area, thefts are increasing to insane levels (I live in the Bay Area, California so that includes San Francisco, San Jose, Milpitas, etc). You'd be surprised at how clever theft has become when stealing bikes, thieves take them without cutting the locks (fast lock picking) All of a sudden they got all pissed off saying I'm being lazy for not helping the family. And they're now threatening to "sell" my ebike behind my back because it's taking up space in the garage (I know, the reason changed from not getting ice to taking up too much space).

My asian parents get all mental when they lose their temper over trivial stuff. And given that they're religious fanatics doesn't help either, it gets to a point where it's causing their own mental illnesses. My dad cant control his alcoholism despite having quadruple bypass surgery and his lung heart keeps filling up with water (something to do with his heart not pumping correctly). As for the house, It's never clean enough for him. He literally cleans the dirt in the backyard because it doesnt look clean (no grass because its "too dirty"). We can't even use the rocking chair in the living room because it's so close to the wall that it won't move at all. If we move the rocking chair out just enough to let it move, he says it makes the house "look dirty". As for my asian mom, everyone who's not Catholic is going to hell. And she wants the entire family to uproot our lives here in California and move to Hawaii because the Hawaiians are so laid back that she thinks crime is 0 non existent, no drugs and everyone is overjoyed since it's Hawaii. I can't correct them on this behavior because the bible says "honor your mother and father". As for the hoarding, its out of control. Our garage has 4 rows of storage bins, each row is 5 ft high and it's all filled with food that's passed its expiration date. We also have 2 refrigerators filled with food (some of it rotten). We can't get rid of it because God will punish us for wasting it. My asian mom also has 18 pairs of shoes which she hasn't used in the past 20 yrs (no exaggeration), a couple more storage bins with clothes, etc. � of the garage is filled with their junk that they haven't used in years.

But here's the problem: they want to get rid of "my" electric bike because I'm not using enough for their needs and it's taking up too much space. And I'm the one who paid for that bike with my own money that I earned from going to work. Heck if they sell it, they'd keep the money for themselves. The worst part is that I can't drive due to a medical condition and that ebike is the only transportation I have (and they want to get rid of it). Also, apparently, buying a t.v. with my own money (also saved from my job) is considered not honoring my mother and father because I'm not allowed to have a t.v. But when they saw my tv is better then theirs, all of a sudden they want to use it to look up guitar tabs for my dad and catholic mass for my mom (they want me to take out a 55inch tv out if my room everyday for them and then put back in my room after they're done with it which I dont because I told them I used my own money to buy it, I decide how I use it). And let's not forget my mom says I'm "mentally incapable of dating and getting married" but turns around and complains that I'm not "honoring my mother and father" by getting married and providing them with grandchildren. I think they do thus stuff to assert their control which is disturbing. And I can't correct them on their behavior because you guessed it, the bible says honor your mother and father
