Younger siblings, what goes through your mind when you see your eldest sibling go NC/become distant with your APs even though you feel like the APs are chill?

Eldest daughter here (25F). Not speaking to the AM even tho Iā€™m still living under the same roof. Been a year now.

My little brother (19M) acts pretty normal around me. Iā€™m surprised he doesnā€™t blame me for the family not being the same anymore. I wonder if he hates me secretly but he seems chill whenever we converse.

Our relationship was strained growing up because he seemed to be more loved (eg no academic pressure, AM jokingly refer to him as her ā€œgolden childā€, gets hit less, gets to go to an expensive college w AM paying the tuition fees from her pocket) and I was a jealous gremlin up until I finished high school.

Weā€™re cool now, but not to the point where we can openly talk about the dysfunction in the family.

So asking this question here to get a picture of what younger siblings would think if your eldest sibling is NC/distant from the APs but the APs are pretty chill for you (or at least, chill enough so you wouldnā€™t go NC with them)
