For fellow Asian guys who have lost a significant amount of weight, has that helped out your dating life?
Post Body

Apologies for the long title, but that's basically the question. I've struggled with my weight for the past couple of years as it's fluctuated a lot with my bad diet and party habits but I've finally been able to cut down some decent weight this year (15 lbs) and maintained it, probably thanks to quarantine. As you can imagine, being a bit overweight has affected my dating life a bit in terms of confidence.

So now, I'm considering on making another weight loss push to lose another 10ish pounds, and I wanted to hear from those who made a significant change to their body composition on how their dating experiences were afterwards, both IRL and online. I understand that this isn't a silver bullet whatsoever, but I'm hoping this will open more dating doors for me.

For reference, I'm 6'0, Chinese/Japanese. Was 211lbs at the beginning of 2020, now hover around 195-192 at the moment. Lift & exercise 2-3 times a week as well.
