I'm an AF but I've been a lurker of this subreddit and have always appreciated seeing the world through the lens of Asian male experiences. Growing up in a predominantly white town, I often felt disconnected from an Asian community and longed to be more in touch with my culture. Now that Iām in the Bellevue/Seattle area, Iām really hoping to branch out and build friendships within the Asian community.
Even though I know there are a lot of Asians here, I canāt help but feel like the āSeattle freezeā is realāitās easy to have short conversations, but building deeper connections has been a challenge. So I wanted to ask the Asian guys here, especially those who moved to the area: how did you find and create your community? Any advice would be super helpful!
(Also, Iām definitely open to making new friends, so feel free to reach out if youād like to connect!)
