Hi! First off, I apologize if this has been asked many times. I am a bit of a lurker and am just curious about this. I see when women express their...lets call ita preference for dating Asian guys (maybe even exclusively), they're accused of fetishization and racism (See 90 Day Fiance)
I know a lot of people from other races have to deal with this sort of thing as well and many of them feel, and are objectified for it. So I wonder how do you personally feel about it?
I think I ask because as a black woman, I am attracted to asian men, but I'm not too out about it because I am afraid of being accused of fetishization. I am not trying to do so, I like East Asian History and culture. And I guess it also extended to the men? I don't even listen to K-Pop and I seldom watch anime.
Of course personality and common interests matter over anything else. But I would still like you guys' perspective on this.
