I'm a personal trainer and since being aware of the discourse regarding asian masculinity and seeing societal patterns that actively disenfranchise asian men not so long ago, I've decided to slowly start taking actions however small to be the change I want to see. I even noticed that my client base had zero asians in it and while I'm fully booked, I took a couple of enthusiastic asian bros who sought out my services. Not so much a big change but it is a step to start being mindful of anything internalized/systemic on my part. As a fitness professional, how do you guys suggest I can use my expertise to help out our fellow asian bros(i.e. when i get slots open maybe actively market/approach interested asian bros etc)?
Let's keep the grind brahs.
Edit. Everyone's giving me very insightful ideas thank you bros πͺπΌππ€π»
