I like to believe I've always been as a bro's bro(i.e. helping bros out with fitness and diet stuff, being a wing man, etc) regardless of race. I've actually just started being more intentional about helping Asian bros in general and I feel joy for seeing Asian bros succeed in fitness, dating, and career.
I'm just curious about what you guys think about particular stuff I engage in that people would find misogynistic: I've traded casual women partners(consenting ofc) with my bros(including asian bros ey) and there's typically objectifying banter between fellow men whenever we do this. On the one hand I think it's fun and just a certain way bros engage in such a situation. It has never felt performative as in trying to amp up my masculinity or to genuinely belittle a fellow bro regarding their performances with women. But on the other it got me thinking about whether such a situation is some form of 'toxic masculinity'.
Ngl I have not thought this out through and I am high writing this but what do you guys think?
