My new waitressing job is terrible for my skin!
Post Body

HALP!

I'm a little bummed out right now, three weeks ago my skin was basically flawless. Moist, dewy, soft and clear! It was where I needed it to be, and I was just working on getting rid of some PIH. I'd even got a handle on my hormonal acne! This is my skin on my second day of work, no filter.

Then I got a job at a Korean restaurant, and it is so hot! I'm constantly walking in and out of the kitchen and the BBQ area now my skin is just bleugh. In the last two weeks, I've had four whiteheads. I was able to remove the pus (yuck) with a hydrocolloid, but they still keep popping up. I feel like I'm back to square one with acne, with the bonus of having sallow looking skin! I feel even more self conscious as I'm constantly talking to customers.

Thankfully, this isn't a forever job for me, but it is important to me right now, so I'd like to keep quitting is a last resort. Besides upping my water intake, is there anything else I should be doing?

I don't wear makeup other than a BB cushion and occasionally a play pencil as an eyeliner. The oil cleansing is for oil control.

My current routine is.

AM:

  • Oil Cleanse, L'Oreal Cleansing Oil

  • Double Cleanse, Eucerin Dermopurifyer Cleanser

  • Oil Control, Hada Labo Kiwamizu Lotion

  • Mild exfoliate, Eucerin Dermopurifyer Toner

  • Moisturise, Eucerin Adjunctive Hydrating Care

PM:
  • Oil Cleanse & Double Cleanse with the same products as AM

  • BHA, Neutrogena Lotion

  • AHA, Mizon 8% Glycolic Peeling Serum

  • Retinol, Nip Fab Overnight Fix

  • Hydrate, Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion

  • Moisturise, Vichy Normaderm Night Detox

Any advice would be super helpful! I live in the UK, and I'm sensitive to niacinamide and coconut oil. Fragrance is just a preference to me, and I have no reaction to any glycols or alcohols.
