Things you wish more people knew about asexuality?

Post Body

Hello all! While exploring my own ace identity I was so excited to find a book in the bookstore (Ace by Angela Chen) about asexuality. I ended up learning a lot about how ace identity intersects with other identities (gender, race, ethnicity, ability).

I was just curious about everyone’s unique experience, assumptions you run into when talking to others about being ace, issues you face getting medical or mental health treatment, etc.

Anything you’d like to share! I’d love to get to know more about the people in my community :)
