How did you know you were asexual?

So, I know it sounds like an odd question, but recently I've been somewhat questioning my own sexuality. I've identified as bisexual for about 12 years now (I'm 26 for some context) but recently have been questioning this and I think I maybe asexual so was wondering what other people's experiences were with discovering they were asexual, see if my experiences match up with them and sort of help confirm my identity to myself a bit more.
