So Iβm thinking of pursuing a career that involves going down the path of becoming an AI Researcher or similar job title. My passion essentially derives from security and cybercrime and the criminal justice/legal industry.
What I wanna know is⦠is this pathway achievable? What kind of process should I work through to get a career related to AI research and fundamentals basically for machine learning and protecting lives? Although robotics and AI are already growing fast in this generation, I wanted some insight on what I can do after I already have my Masters degree and have been looking for jobs in the AI industry. I have some technical expertise already due to my cybersecurity internships and project experience in international affairs and criminal justice stuff. But I do NOT have much coding or more deep and technical exposure to programming and engineering.
Is there a good process or roadmap I can follow to reach my new end goal? What is a smart or beneficial strategy for becoming a researcher in this field?
