A conference was held in San Francisco last week all about generative AI: Jasper AI Conference Highlights Excitement for ChatGPT, Generative AI (businessinsider.com)
It featured speakers including the CEOs of Anthropic, Stability AI, Jasper, and others. There was a lot of excitement in the air and speakers dismissed many of the concerns around generative AI as solvable. The former CEO of GitHub, Nat Friedman, said that the race between Microsoft and Google has made big tech exciting again, and he thinks that people will be okay with some incorrect answers because they will enjoy talking to bots.
