UPDATED RULES
Post Body

You must have a total karma of over 200 and your account must have existed for over 21 days to post in r/ArtGW. The automod will immediately remove any posts made my accounts in violation. This is to cut back on spam.

If your account is established, meaning you've got plenty of post karma, but have a habit of regularly deleting posts so that only your most recent appear on your profile, that behavior is highly suspect and I will remove your posts.

Rule 1: If you didn't create it, don't share it!

  • Basically, if you didn't take the photo, draw the picture, record the gif, or paint the painting, don't post it.

Exceptions to this rule are if you're the muse/subject in the image. No other exceptions.

Rule 2: No Rule34

  • Meaning anything that isn't model and artist, don't post it.

No cartoon/comic characters, no TV characters, no actors, etc. We aren't saying those creations aren't art, we're just saying this isn't the sub for them.

EDITED Rule 3: No soliciting

  • NO SOLICITATION. No asking for upvotes, invitations of any kind, requests for follows, asking for models or commissions, etc. And please, for fuck's sake, stop quoting that scene from Titanic.

Soliciting means outwardly seeking something from someone. When you directly adress another party in a sentence stating your desire, such as "I want you", that's outwardly seeking. If you use the title "Left wanting", or something similar that doesn't directly address another person, it won't break the rule. Hope this helps!

This means no titles like the following: "Is this art?" "Hope you like [whatever]!" "Would you f*ck me?" "I think I'm [any negative thing], do you?" "Commissions are open!" "Come [action] with me?" "Looking for someone to [action]!"

Get creative with your titles! How does your work make you feel?

Rule 4: No paid site links

  • No soliciting your paid sites. We absolutely support your right to sell content, but don't sell it here. This platform is for sharing art, not advertising.

This includes, but is not limited to, Onlyfans (even FREE Onlyfans, because you can still make a profit there) and Patreon. Any link you click and have to pay a subscription to view the content is a no go.

Rule 5: Be creative!

  • If you're going to share a photo of ONLY your genitalia, make sure it isn't just an everyday dick/pussy pic. Be creative! Use lighting, angles, props, or photo editing to make it interesting for everyone.

We've all seen penis. We've all seen vulva. Now make it ART. If you want to share your dick/pussy without putting any artistic effort into the photo, there a plenty of other subs to do that.

Rule 6: Post limit

  • Please limit the number of posts you make to 2 per 24hr period. Anything more than that will be removed.

Rule 7: No phone visible in photos

  • Smartphone photography is absolutely acceptable, but we shouldn't be able to see your smartphone in the photo.

Most smartphones have a timer function in the camera app, and some smartphones even have a voice activated shooting feature. Use those instead!

Rule 8: NO SPAM

  • If you share an identical image to five or more NSFW subreddits, including this one, please be aware that your post will be removed and you will be banned from sharing with us again.

Reddit is a wonderful platform for sharing your work, but there's absolutely no reason why you should abuse it by sharing the same photo or gif to every NSFW subreddit.

HAPPY ARTING!
