Hello, there! My ASL is 28/F/USA. Sorry if this isn't allowed--if it isn't, feel free to delete it mods.

Anyway, I just bought two journals that I want to use in snail mail correspondence with two other artists. I'm more of a digital artist so I'll mainly be printing my art out to paste on the journals. Of course, you can do the same or you can draw inside the journal itself if you want (I may do that myself too). If you'd rather draw traditionally and scan them to re-print them so you can glue the second copy on the journal (and thus leaving the original drawing in your possession), that's perfectly fine too.

Meanwhile, in the journal, we can talk about our day and whatever things that may be troubling us. We can talk about stuff you're passionate about too, such as school, art, fandoms, pairings, games, anime-manga, movies, books, TV shows, poetry, philosophy, science, and etc (be warned, I typically don't write too too much because my attention span isn't the greatest). If you want to write down a mini-playlist of some of your favorite songs per entry, it's fine too.

About my art btw, I am a sketcher by nature, so you'll usually see me drawing in the anime style in a rough fashion. I don't like coloring my art, although I may try every now and then maybe.

What is your preferred medium (E.g Pencils, Paint, Digital etc.)?

• I work with digital mainly (gotta love those Ctrl-Z's) but I do draw with pencils sometimes.

What are you working towards-What are your goals? E.g (The type of style (realism, manga, western), people-characters-landscape etc.)

• I'd like to better my understanding of anatomy especially with dynamic poses. I am mostly used to drawing from the bust and up typically so I need to practice my anatomy with the whole body too.

Are you looking for a buddy of a similar level or something more advanced? (N.B. you can have more than one buddy, so if you feel like you want both then leave this question blank)

• I'd like to work with someone with a similar level.

How often would you like to share work with your artbuddy?

• Since, we'll be exchanging journal entries with each other, it'll probably be an exchange that happens 1-3 times a month. I don't expect perfection (I have many bad flaws about my drawing too), so just relax and have fun writing and drawing in the journal!

How do you wish to communicate with your artbuddy? (E.g Skype-IRC-Reddit PM etc)

• We can chat through Reddit messaging to get us started but the main mode of interaction is through the journal.

Extra info about yourself:

• I've been into the technology of BCI (brain-computer interfaces) and brain-to-brain interfaces lately so I may talk about that since I like researching quirky things like mind control and how it can be achieved.
