As one who has not tried dmt but has become super interested in it lately, I think its absolutely fascinating that 6 different commenters here have independently said they encountered this same being in the dmt realm.
I'm still interested to hear if you would like to share any of them! Just posted today essentially asking this same question here
Yup, the idea of a 4th dimension here seems like one of the ways in which something so seemingly unlikely could be taking place. If we're increasing the number of neural connections taking place in our brain, it doesn't seem necessarily supernatural (although certainly still speculative) that we'd be able to increase our perception of what's around us. If our perception is normally just 3 dimensional without these substances then naturally science wouldn't be accounting for it, having only existed in 3 dimensions, but I don't think precludes this possibility either.
Yeah I think this is a possibility, although for me the difference with the ecstasy example is that those are feelings, behavioral tendencies, and emotions, while this is distinctly more specific. However when combining this explanation with the idea that the details are being filled in and the drug-induced imagery is actually less specific, that would seem plausible. (Still, there's a level at which it's specific enough and appeared the experiences were independent enough that it gives me pause.)
Thanks for the input - this does make sense to me overall; I think if everyone had been saying "I also saw her on DMT" in response to others I would have leaned this way naturally, but it seemed like independent comments that in some cases I inferred hadn't been written after seeing the others. That sort of took it a step further to me, but I don't think rules this explanation out either, with regard to recognizing the image in the first place.
Really intriguing and thoughtful ideas; thanks for taking the time to respond. Gives me the kinds of things to think about that I was looking for. Unrelated but also wanted to say I really like the art. I make psychedelic photo art and just followed you on Instagram...great stuff

Like, what could alternative explanations be, aside from this is a real being? Did their brains all just independently respond to the substance in such an acutely specific way as this? I'm typically a skeptic...I need to consider alternative explanations!
