I have watched a few montages cut to Louis Dunfords amazing song and although the Chorus just resonates so much and the original music video is a nostalgic masterpiece, when the full song is cut to highlights it just doesn't work.. Talking about Brothels and seeing Havertz cruising the pitch ... seems odd..
I am not a musician but I wondered what the song could be if written to be proper Arsenal anthem. This might be controversial but I asked our friend ChatGPT to give it a go and did some minor engineering to make it a little better...
How do you think it sounds?
I used this instrumental to check it scans ok.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZpzFX3p5nE

As I walk these streets alone, through the place I call my own
Under the lights of Emirates, where legends' names are shown
From the North Bank to the Clock End, where the faithful proudly sing
From Holloway to Finsbury, and every corner in between
Pass the Cannon on the High Road, the red and white on every wall
See the memories of the Gunners, in every pub and hall
Watch the fans in every café, reminiscing 'bout the glory
As they dream of future triumphs, in our club’s enduring story
Through the crowds on match day mornings, hear the voices loud and clear
"Come on Arsenal! You Gunners!" filling up the atmosphere
Double pie and mash and liquor, a pint before the game
Or cheer with fellow Gooners, as we chant the famous names
The little ones in red and white, with dreams in their eyes
The old boys in their scarves, with stories that never die
From The Twelve Pins to The Tollie, every face is full of pride
'Cause the club might see new changes, but the spirit won’t subside
CHORUS
North London forever
Whatever the weather, these streets are our own
And my heart will leave you, never
My blood will forever run through the stone
As I walk these streets alone, where red and white have grown
I see the modern Emirates, where history's our throne
In the spirit of the Invincibles, unbeaten in our pride
With Adams as our leader, Rocastle by his side
Wrighty's grin, Bergkamp's touch, and Thierry's lightning pace
Wenger's voice still echoes, guiding us with grace
In the memories of Highbury, in every cheer and every shout
The club might see new changes, but our spirit won't burn out
CHORUS
North London forever
Whatever the weather, these streets are our own
And my heart will leave you, never
My blood will forever run through the stone
I'm not from London, but I do agree the chorus works much better than the rest of the song.
That being said, I don't think it would work well to change the lyrics of the song, let along let AI do it, but if there was a joint effort from both club and Louis Dunford, I'll would totally be into it.
