It was a success!!!!!

We’ve been FWB in a dom/sub relationship for 8 months now. Things had been leaning towards a romantic relationship off and on, here and there. I felt uncomfortable whenever it became more romantic. And I would distance myself or express that I didn’t yet feel comfortable with it going down that route. (In reality I didn’t want it to happen at all for aro reasons lol)

Tonight, I finally came out to them as aromantic after being apart of this subreddit for a few weeks and realizing I’m aromantic. It took quite a bit of thinking and reflection, and it might change later, but now I feel comfortable with it. As of right now, it feels right.

They said they were glad I felt comfortable enough to share that with them, and that it meant a lot to them for me to share. I feel like there’s less tension in my chest, and no longer a knot in my stomach. Everything feels better between us now, and I feel better having come out to them.
