Enjoying the gun pilot life currently but with hours slowly drying up in the CABs I’ve opened my mind to other flying positions in the Army that’ll build hours. Not interested in a spot back at Rucker but JRTC Gator pilot is intriguing so wondering if any of you guys/gals had experience with the job. What are the rank/hour/schooling requirements , how easy is it to transition back to -72 if you flew them in IERW, is it sought after, what’s the life like/hours, etc. Just genuinely curious, feel free to DM as well. Cheers.
