If you think about it, few friends that you do make along the game are all kinda fucked no matter what, right? Walter either gets bodied off-screen, by you, or by Allmind, and the same deal with Carla. Ayre gets killed only in 1 of 3 endings, but then there is the wolf boy, Rusty. So, he dies in one of the endings by your hand, and not by your in the other, but in the 3rd ending, his absence implies that he survives, right? Which, by extension, means that this is the ending where most of your friends get to live.

Also, people argue whether Carla or Ayre is the best girl, and while it's Walter, 2nd best is def Allmind, so that's there too
