I applaud what Fayetteville has done which curbed the late night thrill seeking 9-5 pariahs. I don't know what exactly has happened but there's certainly been a shift. I remember a time, seems not so long ago, where one could walk down Dickson w no destination in mind armed Only w an eager sense of adventure & soon enough compatriots would be near. These days it seems as if I'm walking down Disneyland. Perhaps the local bars have gotten so good @ sorting out the riff raff or maybe this is a sign of a dying culture, lending itself to anew. The shift seems so subtle & calm one is left questioning if theit memories are even for real.
Sure maybe I don't get what I want, post midnight conversations w thinkers thinking on multi planes pushing the envelope of what's considered "hardcore" or safe if you will but damn if it's not clean & quiet. Fayetteville may be one of the safest towns I've ever visited. Do what you will with this.
