I suspected it to be as such? But not to that degree!
I logged in to see how I can profit from deke, and there I see the tier 6 IMTV armor that costs 190k on the market. Well what items does he want? 12 thermometers. No problem, I press fill and they all fill at 10k, 120k to buy items and to sell for 180, easy 50k profit after fees. Bought one for 10k and price "recalculated" suddenly they're all for 13.5k.
So I enter the market to search for the thermometer individually, and I see 1 listed for 5k, 2 listed for 7k, 4 listed for 9k and the big bulk of listing's are at 12k. Why did the "autobuy" want me to but each for 13.5? A lot higher than the market value.
I decided to investigate, went to the gunsmith and built a kitted out FAL to see what offer I get, then immediately went to the market to see the prices for individual items.
The gunsmith is absolutely scamming you! Selling for prices ABOVE the highest price listed on the market on almost all parts! A 230k FAL can be built for 160-190k if you spend some time buying all the parts individually.
